For more than 30 years Jonelle has taught and encouraged musicians through her private violin studio, Sequoia Strings, located at Telford and Sons Violins in Boise ID.

Jonelle uses an individualized approach to support students of all ages, encouraging each student to trust their talent and create their own musical path.

Her students grow in different ways - from appreciating music to serious study - and are encouraged to become a lifelong participant in the arts.

Violin lesson checklist: dedicated music bag or backpack, shoulder rest, rosin, #2 pencil, colored pencils, eraser, fingernail clippers, music stand for home use, metronome, tuner, video recording device (smart phone, tablet etc)
Parent / Guardian: purchase music within 7 days, drop off / pick up on time, provide a dedicated time and space for practicing, pay tuition at the first lesson of the month

âFAQ Violin Lessons

âLessons are located at Telford and Sons Violins in Boise ID.
Lessons are offered once a week at a time reserved in advance.
â
Violin lessons are held in 20, 30, 45, or 60 minute time slots.
â
Monthly tuition is due at the first violin lesson of each month via cash or check.
â
Monthly tuition rates range from $80 - $250.
â
Monthly tuition reserves a specific time on the studio schedule.
Make-up lessons are not guaranteed.
â
Missed violin lessons are not deducted from your tuition payment(s)
â
Any lesson may be held virtually during your regular time slot in lieu of a cancellation.â
â
Students are expected to follow a weekly home practice schedule.
Sequoia Strings follows the Boise Public Schools vacation and holiday schedule during the school year.âââââ
